A key look from Burberry Prorsum’s Spring-Summer 2015 show.
Burberry Prorsum was again a sublime exercise in styling. Outerwear dominated as always, but was lightened by the fresh, candy pastel colour scheme and the vibrant, lightweight, oversize, graphic t-shirts and scarves. For the most part the garments themselves were straightforward. Classic Burberry outerwear sat with blazers and denim jackets, which were then paired with tailored crop chinos and running shoes. This season Christopher Bailey took his was inspiration from the author Bruce Chatwin’s global travels, with over-sized graphics on T-shirts and accessories, inspired by the vintage books that he had found himself on his own journeys to flea markets, including among others, The History of English Tailoring.
