Nike KD7 Easy Money – AW 2014-15 Sneaker Review

Nike KD7 ‘Easy Money’

This is the seventh signature shoe from U.S. Basketball player, Kevin Durant and fuses performance innovation with a creative narrative and personal storytelling with five color ways that are centered on the weather.

Easy Money

If it was on name alone The KD7 Easy Money would get an easy 10. Designed by Nike Designer Leo Chang as a Pro-Basketball shoe, the KD7 is pumped full of new technology, incorporating a seamless forefoot mesh, Nike’s dynamic Flywire technology and encapsulated Nike Zoom in the front of the shoe. Yet it also has some clever personal touches; a silhouette of KD’s home state of Maryland embedded on the outsole; and the forefoot strap includes the names of his mother Wanda, his grandmother Barbara, his father Wayne and his brother Tony.  ‘Easy Money’ is inspired by the colours and graphics on the US$100 ‘Benjamin Franklin’ bill. The ‘Easy Money’ colorway is a tribute to Kevin Durant’s nickname ‘Easy Money’. The KD7’s details and colours are also customizable at NikeiD. or available to buy as is at Nike online for €130.
